Discovery Channel Gunman Identified as James Lee

For the record, I would like to state in no uncertain terms, it isn’t me!

Several news outlets are reporting that James Jay Lee, a hard-core environmental activist, has taken at least one hostage, and fired at least one, maybe a half-dozen shots inside the headquarters of the Discover Channel near Washington DC. He also may have explosives with or on him.

It is being said he has a list of demands to help “save the environment.”

I hope the situation is quickly resolved and the nutjob is taken into custody with no one being killed or injured.

UPDATE 3*** Also hearing the same on ABC Radio top-of-the-hour news updates. Reports all three hostages are safe.

UPDATE 4*** Reports that James J. Lee, Environmental Crusader, has achieved his goal of carbon-neutral status. Kudos to the Law Enforcement officers who brought the situation to a safe conclusion for the hostages.
